As Rihanna launched River Island during London's Fashion Week, I was in New York missing out. However, I did get a chance to preview her line through various websites and social networks. I've been natural for at least 12 years, maybe longer. Once going natural I knew I'd never return to what some refer to as the 'creamy crack' or perm. I love everything about being natural. I locked my hair after 8 years of being natural and love my locs even more. I am posting a few pics of some styles I've done to my locs throughout the years.

If You've Ever Experienced A Love Like This Before

As I mentally prepared myself to watch Rihanna's latest video 'Stay'. I went to a deep place. One that Rihanna and myself are both familiar with. I was focused. I paid close attention to this video and I love it because it's relate-able. Anyone who's ever shared a deep, strong, and obsessive love can clearly understand why Rihanna was able to sing at times and other times she couldn't. Its like hearing a song like 'Stay' on the radio and trying to sing along and fight back tears and you think of that special someone who you just want to STAY. You're trying to be strong in the mist of it all. All the confusion and what if's and whys...Please Stay...

Yea she actually beat out my girl Rihanna this year, but Rihanna looked GORGEOUS as always. I love you RiRi...don't forget that...no matter what this post may say about who's best dressed ;-)

Ok, to the few fans I have (as of now), I would like to say sorry. I've neglected you from last year. Not my intentions at all, but was busy enjoying life, and cherishing life. I've since gotten married and lost one of my best friend two days apart. Greatness turned into sadness and joy came in the end. It's all in the way you perceive things in this life.

 I would like to share with you pics from my special day. Hope you enjoy. I love vintage and am inspired by looks from the 1940's, hence the reason you see me like this.
